Gluing and assembly processes

In 2022, we expanded our range of services to include the Exterior division: highly efficient system concepts for the production of exterior plastic components such as bumpers, spoilers and tailgates. The processes can be implemented as single-station solutions or automatically linked in the 3CON FLEXXLINE production lines:

GLUING PROCESS

• Fully automatic application of adhesive (beads, 2-component PUR adhesive)
• Integrated IR activation for process acceleration
• Highly efficient process planning and control via the 3CONnect MES system  

 ASSEMBLY PROCESS  

• Fully automatic joining processes (ultrasonic welding or hot stamp riveting)
• Punching operations
• Manual assembly operations
• Fully automatic clip assembly
• Fully automatic screwing
• EOL End-of-Line-Check (test procedure for specification, orientation and completeness of components)
• Highly efficient process planning and control via the 3CONnect MES system
